Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror media franchise created by Scott Cawthon focused around murderous animatronics in a pizzeria. The franchise originally gained popularity after the success of its first video game of the same name, and has since spawned many more games, books, graphic novels, and merchandise. Chris Hastings was hired to adapt two novels from the franchise into graphic novel format.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones is a graphic novel adaptation of the young adult book of the same name. It is the second book in the young adult book trilogy, all three of which are being adapted into graphic novels. The script for the first comic adaptation was written by the author of the original novel himself, while the second novel was requested to be adapted by Chris Hastings. Chris wrote the script for the comic version of the second novel, The Twisted Ones, and the book released on February 2, 2021.[1]

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Fourth Closet is a graphic novel adaptation of the young adult book of the same name, and is a sequel to The Twisted Ones. It was adapted by Chris Hastings as well, and released on December 28, 2021.[2]
Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights Graphic Novel Collection #1–5[]
The Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights Graphic Novel Collections are a series graphic novels that each collect three stories from various entries in the Fazbear Frights young adult book series. Chris Hastings created each of the adaptations.[3][4][5] The first adaptation, Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights Graphic Novel Collection #1 adapts stories from the first two Fazbear Frights books, and the collection was released on September 6, 2022. On March 7, 2023, the second graphic novel, Fazbear Frights Graphic Novel Collection #2, was released, adapting three stories from the second and third young adult novels. The third graphic novel collection was released on September 5, 2023, adapting three stories pulled from the fourth, fifth, and sixth young adult novels. The fourth volume was released on December 26, 2023, adapting stories from the seventh and eighth young adult novels. The fifth graphic novel collection is intended to release on September 3, 2024, and will contain stories ninth, tenth, and eleventh young adult novels.
